Key Student
Policies
Behavioral Standards and Student Responsibilities
Students are required to maintain high levels of integrity at all times.
Our main goal is to cultivate strong
Christian Servants. Consequently, certain behaviors are prohibited, including cheating, plagiarism, falsifying information, and the use of abusive,
threatening, or harassing language or actions. Students who violate this policy may face disciplinary measures, which could range from grade reduction to expulsion, depending on the situation.
Students must show courtesy, respect, and kindness toward administrators, staff,
faculty, volunteers, and fellow students, reflecting their role as servants of the Lord.
Academic Integrity and
Honesty
Students are required to maintain high
standards of academic integrity at all times. They must access all necessary course materials. If materials are available in different formats, students should choose the format that best suits their technology setup. If administrators, staff, or faculty find that a student is not accessing the
required course materials and therefore not engaging with the essential content, the student may face academic consequences and further investigation.
Each student is allowed only one student account. It is the student’s responsibility to keep their account secure by logging out after completing
coursework and keeping their password confidential. Students must not share their account access with others. If a student cannot access their account for any reason, they should contact the Help Desk at

Providing false
information about oneself or others is strictly forbidden.
The following outlines additional
policies concerning academic
integrity, including rules against cheating

Plagiarism:
What is
plagiarism?
Plagiarism involves using another person's words or ideas without citing the source, giving the false impression that they are your own.
What are some examples of plagiarism?
1. Submitting a paper written by someone else while claiming authorship.
2. Copying and pasting content from the Internet into your paper without citing the source and presenting it as your own writing.
3. Taking sentences or paragraphs from a book or article without using quotation marks or crediting the
author.
4. Summarizing or paraphrasing large sections from a
source without acknowledging it in your paper.
Why is plagiarism wrong?
Plagiarism is a form of theft and dishonesty. It goes against Christian ethical principles, violates accepted academic standards, and is illegal under the law.
How Do we handle plagiarism?
1. Any assignment found to contain plagiarism will automatically receive a failing grade.
2. If the student wants to appeal the failing grade, they may contact the Registrar. If the Registrar concludes that the
plagiarism was
unintentional and minor, the student might be allowed to redo the assignment for a grade.
3. If the Registrar determines the plagiarism was deliberate and involved a significant amount
of material, the student will fail both the assignment and the course. The Registrar may also revoke the student's scholarship.
4. A second serious plagiarism offense typically results in loss of all scholarships and expulsion from
Christian Leaders College and Institute. In rare cases, the Registrar may reduce this penalty. However, repeated plagiarism is considered a serious violation of Christian conduct and academic integrity, indicating the student is not mature or trustworthy enough to be trained for
leadership in God's church.
5. If plagiarism is discovered
after a student has completed a class or earned a certificate, diploma, or degree from Christian Leaders
College or Christian Leaders Institute, the course credit may be revoked and the credentials withdrawn.
WHEN YOU
FAIL IN YOUR QUIZZES

will be charged, and (2) grade updates for retaken courses will only be granted with the Administrative approval after a thorough review
of the student’s
